LMTPhotography bio picture
  • Welcome!

    I fell in love with photography when I was teaching in China. My eyes were opened to a world of beautiful faces and incredible art as I roamed the streets and markets of Shanghai. I took pictures of every new and exciting detail and scene to help me remember my time there when I returned home.

    Photography is the memory of our lives. Photographs never change, even when the people in them do. My family lost my brother-in-law at a young age shortly after I returned from China. All we have left of him are the memories through our pictures. I wish we had more pictures of all of us together to show my kids the love and laughs we shared. Losing him motivated me to be a better memory creator for my family, and it fuels my passion for creating beautiful, timeless images that capture smiles and spirit.

    My goal as a photographer is to make this easy for you. I'm a mom of 5. I get that things need to be simplified in life. Let me give you pictures you'll love and an experience you'll enjoy. Now is the right time to schedule your session! Contact me--let's do this for you!

Landreth Family Photos {Saint Louis Area Family Photographer}

I had the pleasure of meeting this fun family
because they were the winners of my donated session and product credit
for the Caritas Family Solutions’ silent auction a few months ago.

It’s the perfect time for family photos for the Landreth as their oldest son
heads off to college in just a few short months.
They are just going to cherish these memories! <3
And what makes their pictures even more special
is that we were able to take them at their house
and at the golf course right next to their house.
I love when familiar and beloved locations can be used in sessions!

Landreth family, it was a pleasure  meeting you and getting to know you through this session.
Patrick, many blessings to you as you head off to your first year of college.
You’re one step closer to ruling the world.
May these pictures bless you with smiles for many years to come!

Mayer Family Session {Saint Louis Area Family Photographer}

I cannot think of a better way to end my 2017 season
than with a beautiful family session!
We scouted out so many fun places to take pictures
at their family property…it was hard to narrow down!
Lighting always wins, so we went with the places that had the best open shade.
And, oh, the weather–it was the warmest last session of the season I’ve ever had!

The Mayer family came into the session knowing they wanted a display on their walls.
Meeting my clients before-hand at the consultation allows me to go into the session
with the final goals in mind. So we took pictures of possible locations for the images to hang,
and then I started dreaming and visualizing how it would all come together.
This is my passion–creating heirloom art that my clients are going to love for a lifetime.
Using special software, I am able to take the pictures of my clients’ walls to show them
how the sized canvas and frames will look proportionately on their walls before they commit to the purchase.
I know they’re going to love it before they buy it!

Mayer family, thank you for trusting me with your memories.
I am honored!
It was a pleasure to work with you, and I pray these images
will bless you with smiles for many years to come!

Holcomb Family Session {Saint Louis Family Photographer}

The last time I photographed these love birds
was for a “trash the dress” session after their wedding.
(Don’t worry…they didn’t actually trash the dress!)

Now their little family has grown to three!

You might not be able to tell from these pictures,
but it was a balmy (maybe) 40 degrees for their session.
They (especially little Andrew!) were champs!
And it makes you appreciate all those smiles even more! ๐Ÿ™‚

Holcomb family, I hope these pictures will be a treasure for years to come!

Lueker Extended Family Session {Saint Louis Area Family Photographer}

If returning clients are the best compliment to a photographer,
the next best thing are referrals!
And that’s how the Lueker family came to me (thanks, Thurman family!)

It was a joy to get to hear the Lueker’s family story as they adopted their kids
(who are actual siblings!) from Ethiopia
and to meet their extended family.
I love shooting extended family sessions because I know firsthand
how precious those pictures become when you lose loved ones.
It’s always a challenge to get large groups of people with different schedules together,
but they did it!
And I pray these images will bless them with joy for many years to come!

Erin’s Senior Session {Saint Louis Senior Photographer}

If return clients is a measure of a photographer’s reputation, then I am blessed!
Two third-time returning clients in a row! I love it! <3

I’ve had the pleasure of watching Erin’s family grow over the last four years,
from two kids in high school to one to…almost an empty nest!
Erin is an amazing person–she travels all over the country with her field hockey team.
She has been captain of her varsity high school team two years in a row.
Not only that, but she’s super smart and is headed off to college to pursue
a degree in veterinary medicine! Whew! (That’s a lot of school!)

Erin, I had fun planning your session.
We had the perfect warm fall day!
I just love your spirit (and your whole family!).
I know these pictures are going to bring your family smiles
for many years after you head off to college!

Enjoy showing off your senior pictures!
