Labor Day weekend we headed north
for my husband’s cousin’s wedding.
We were so excited to have a chance to visit Jon’s mom and dad
and even more excited that Jon’s mom
felt up to traveling after all of her surgeries
and chemo therapies since her cancer diagnosis
last May. We’re proud of her!

Considering that Jon’s mom nearly lost her life a few months ago,
it brought us all great joy to see her at the wedding
and see her dancing, even if it was just for a moment!
