After the wedding was over
we headed over to Racine
to hang out with Jon’s parents for the rest of the weekend.
We were supposed to get our family pictures taken together
on the beach in Virginia during our family vacation
but since Jon’s mom couldn’t make the trip,
it never happened.
So we rescheduled to get our pictures taken
on the shores of Lake Michigan instead.
It turned out for the best–
much better weather and more company!
My sister, Shana, who shot the wedding with me this summer
just happened to be visiting a friend in Racine the same weekend.
So she and her hubby met up with us near the lighthouse
to help snap the pictures I was in
and muster some smiles from my kids.
This was WAY better than using a tripod
like we did in our pictures last spring!
