52 Weeks of Gratitude: Week 5

This week I can’t help but be thankful for my handy-man,
the love of my life.

I can count on him to fix up just about anything in the house.
Plumming. Electric. Doors. Electronics. Paint. Projects. Gates.

And he loves to build.
New closets. IKEA furniture. Garden beds. Bird houses.

Last weekend my camera gave me a permanent message.
“Error. Press shutter release button again.”
Right as I was 3/4 of the way through capturing couples at our church’s
Song of Solomon Marriage Conference.
Thankfully we had a point and shoot on hand so I could finish up the couples.

But I was devastated.
Of course this happened almost one month exactly after my warranty expired.

So we went to work researching how to fix the camera.
It was apparently a common problem with several similar models.

And after buying some of the right tools for the job, he was able to fix it!
Hooray! 😀 Oh happy day! 😀

I did learn my lesson. I need to have a back up camera.
So I have an order in for a new camera as we speak.
I’m super excited!
But more importantly, I’m thankful for my handy-man who always saves the day.
Love you, hunny!

obviously, this isn’t a picture of him fixing my camera.
But I love that he’s teaching our son to be handy too!
His future wife will be so thankful! 🙂
