Remember these guys?
They got their family pictures taken back in 2010
right after their adopted daughter got to come home with them.
This family’s story is so special!
A little more than a year after they adopted their son,
they received a call that he had a sister who was also up for adoption.
They thought their family was complete.
They had no idea how they could afford a second adoption since they still had debt from the first one.
But they felt led by the Lord that this was His plan for their family,
and God showed up in big ways to provide for them to make the second adoption happen.
It was truly a miracle!
And now, two years later…look how those kids have grown!!
This year’s session was a special gift for their mothers–family portraits for both sides of the family!
What a great mother’s day gift!!
We found a great little spot overlooking the Mississippi River that was completely shaded
to give us some relief during the 90 degree weather that day.
(yuck!)
The kids were all troopers and we got some great family shots
that will be hanging around their homes for years to come.
