This week’s challenge at I Heart Faces is Framed. It’s been a long time since I participated in one of their challenges, but the second I saw it, I had a photo…and a story!…in mind. This family came to me for a mini-session with their newly adopted little boy. He was SO shy. I pulled...

    I Heart Faces: Week 20 Challenge {Flowers and Faces}

    This week’s i heart faces challenge is flowers and faces. I immediately thought of this picture. It’s my son and his friend on a play date at the zoo. It’s funny… this picture looks posed (and maybe even a bit cheesy), but it’s a totally real, un-prompted picture! I asked them to sit by the...

    Fix-it Friday #54

    This week’s Fix-it Friday challenge certainly was a challenge! The submitting mom says, “This is a photo of my 2 year-old Parker. I am bothered by the harsh shadow on his face and the washed out colors of the photo. His eyes are a beautiful blue and you just can’t see that. I would love...

      The third one is my fave. What you said about checking for shadows before snapping the picture, I understand now! I never meant for this photo to be so cute, I was trying to get a picture of his tie!! and with a VERY busy 2 yr old, you snap where you can before they throw a fit that a camera is in their face!!!:) Thank you for working on my photo this week, you edits are GREAT!!ReplyCancel

        I totally understand… I have a wiggly 3 year old and an even wigglier 1 year old! I can’t tell you how many of these shots I’ve tried to “save!” All that hard work just makes me more intentional about avoiding those things if at all possible! 🙂 Glad you liked the edits! 🙂ReplyCancel

    I Heart Faces: Week 19 "Celebrating Mom" Photo Challenge

    I just love the tenderness this momma has for her little one. It’s like she’s looking at her baby and seeing the man he’ll one day become… Check out the other  great “celebrating mom” entries at iheartfaces.blogspot.com
