Haven, we are so proud of the work that you did to give honor to your Great-Grandpa. In his words, “You turned out good!” We pray this will be the first of many books as you continue to pursue your passion! Love, Mom and Dad <3ReplyCancel

Haven – What a beautiful story of love about your great-grandfather. So amazing to know your book will be in your family for many generations. I wish I had thought to do this with my grandparents when I was younger. I love the artwork, pictures and your story. Fantastic job!!! ReplyCancel

Oh my gosh!!! Haven, that is one of the best books I have read in a long time. And I’m very serious about that. You did a fabulous job!! I enjoyed meeting y0ur great grandparents (yes, grandma, too because you really made her real). With all sincerity I hope you continue to write books. I am a very big reader, and we need more good authors. Your research was impeccable, and your photos and art work was fantastic. You give your readers a very real feel of what it was to live back then. I am so impressed with your work. You have definitely inherited all those great talents your mom has and encourages in all of you. Thank you for writing this, and please, please write more. I’ll be waiting for the next book.ReplyCancel

What an awesome creation! I did a similar project on my grandfather. He was born in 1895 & passed in 1996 @ 101. I re-read that occasionally. As you grow older you will co.e to appreciate that book more & more. Job well done! ReplyCancel
