LMTPhotography bio picture
  • Welcome!

    I fell in love with photography when I was teaching in China. My eyes were opened to a world of beautiful faces and incredible art as I roamed the streets and markets of Shanghai. I took pictures of every new and exciting detail and scene to help me remember my time there when I returned home.

    Photography is the memory of our lives. Photographs never change, even when the people in them do. My family lost my brother-in-law at a young age shortly after I returned from China. All we have left of him are the memories through our pictures. I wish we had more pictures of all of us together to show my kids the love and laughs we shared. Losing him motivated me to be a better memory creator for my family, and it fuels my passion for creating beautiful, timeless images that capture smiles and spirit.

    My goal as a photographer is to make this easy for you. I'm a mom of 5. I get that things need to be simplified in life. Let me give you pictures you'll love and an experience you'll enjoy. Now is the right time to schedule your session! Contact me--let's do this for you!

Andrew’s Senior Session {Saint Louis and Columbia Area Senior Photographer}

Andrew’s family has been clients of mine for a long time.
Truly there is no better compliment for a photographer than when clients come back!
Check out their first family session here:
Check out their daughter’s senior session here:

And now it’s Andrew’s turn.
If you know Andrew, you know there are a few things absolutely true about him:
1. He is kind and helpful, though a bit quiet and shy (until you get to know him).
2. He is proud of his car.
3. He likes to dress up, and he can rock a suit and tie!
4. He’s kind of obsessed with legos. čśë

I’m so glad we were able to work out a session that helped capture his spirit and all the things he loves.
Not only that, but we got to take his pictures on his family’s farm, so they are even more meaningful.
And speaking of family, it was time they had an updated picture so we took some of those too! Why not?! čÖé

Andrew and Clasquin family, I hope you enjoy the pictures, and I hope they bless you with smiles for years to come!

Welcome, Baby Emmarie! {Saint Louis area Newborn and Family Photographer}

This little cutie just happens to be my newest niece! <3
Melt my heart!!

My whole family headed down to southern MO to meet her.
We learned that my kids get car sick.
Fun.
But even though my day didn’t go quite like we planned,
we managed to get some great shots for little Emmarie’s birth announcements.
I definitely need some more snuggle time with this little wiggle worm though!

Congratulations, Lora and Wade! Emmarie (and her red highlighted hair) is so beautiful! čśŤ
Here’s to a few more hours of sleep for you this week!

Simon is ONE! {Saint Louis child and family photographer}

This little cutie pie turned ONE
and got to celebrate with his very own donut!
Donuts make everything better according to Simon.
Turns that frown upside down!

Jacob family, enjoy sharing your pictures!
I hope they bless you with smiles for years to come!

Thurman Family {Saint Louis Family Photographer}

This family.
Let me tell you.
Joe lost his mom to this world and his dad to the next.
Joe was in the system, and was featured on KSDK’s A Place to Call Home in 2013.
Then┬áthese two come along and adopt him…at 15 years old.
It has been amazing to watch God’s goodness and grace and love flow from them.
To see God orchestrate this story beginning with their love for kids as they volunteered in youth ministry to open their hearts to adopting an older child.
To the way their case worker forwarded them Joe’s video, even though they hadn’t seen it when it aired.
And┬áGod is using this adoption process to open Joe’s eyes to His love as his Father,
the love He has for all of us, adopting us into His family.
It’s enough to bring tears to your eyes!

Joe’s adoption was official back in April.
So these are their first official family pictures.
We chose Forest Park for their session so we could visit the zoo for a few pictures.
Joe had never been to the zoo before he was part of their family, so it’s a special place!
And his stuffies P-dog and Doptie help him remember that experience,
so naturally they had to make an appearance.
We got a few silly┬ápictures too–of mom and dad with their “baby”
since they don’t have any pictures with him when he was little. čśë
And of course Joe’s fur-siblings needed to get in on some pictures too!

Thurman family, I’m so honored to be the first to photograph your family.
I pray these pictures will bless you with smiles and happy memories for many years to come!

Welcome Baby Josselyn! {Columbia and Saint Louis Family and Newborn Photographer}

God put this sweet family in my lives about 8 months ago.
It is an honor to photograph them, but not as big as the honor of calling them friends.

In October they welcomed their precious little girl, Josselyn.
I could have taken pictures in their house all. day. long.
Josselyn’s mom is a talented artist, and her style and decor are amazing!
Great light makes great pictures, and the light was best in the master bedroom,
so that’s where we focused most of the session.

Little Josselyn and her big brother were so cooperative for pictures…
and even Chouteau, the dog!
Oh my word…they were just adorable!

Wiese family, thank you for trusting me with your memories.
I hope these pictures bless your hearts with joy for many years to come!
