LMTPhotography bio picture
  • Welcome!

    I fell in love with photography when I was teaching in China. My eyes were opened to a world of beautiful faces and incredible art as I roamed the streets and markets of Shanghai. I took pictures of every new and exciting detail and scene to help me remember my time there when I returned home.

    Because photography is the memory of our lives. Photographs never change, even when the people in them do. My family lost my brother-in-law at a young age shortly after I returned from China. All we have left of him are the memories through our pictures. I wish we had more pictures of all of us together to show my kids the love and laughs we shared. Losing him motivated me to be a better memory creator for my family, and it fuels my passion for creating beautiful, timeless images that capture smiles and spirit.

    My goal as a photographer is to make this easy for you. I'm a mom of 5. I get that things need to be simplified in life. Let me give you pictures you'll love and an experience you'll enjoy. Now is the right time to schedule your session! Contact me--let's do this for you!

Leo is 3! {Saint Louis Child and Family Photographer}

Leo is one of the cutest, sweetest, silliest little guys I know.
And his smile and little laughs are just contagious!!
I had a great time with him and his dad getting some great shots to celebrate his 3rd birthday.
And his last birthday as an only child. 😉

Mark and Elizabeth, thank you for supporting Compassion International by
booking a Making Spirits Bright mini-session!
You will certainly be making an unsponsored child’s spirit bright with this Christmas gift!

Enjoy showing off Leo’s beautiful pictures to your friends and family!

Ariel’s Senior Session {Saint Louis and Waterloo Senior and Family Photographer}

Ariel’s family has such a special place in my heart.
Last year I took her brother Gabe’s senior pictures.
You can read his story here.

Ariel has the same Factor X deficiency as her brother,
but because they knew about it through Gabe’s experiences,
they were much more prepared when Ariel was born.

That being said, this girl has incredible strength.
She has overcome so many obstacles.
She has an amazing faith.
She studies hard.
She’s already been accepted to her college of choice.
I’m so incredibly proud of the young woman she has become!

Magee family, thank you so much for trusting me with your memories again.
It was my absolute pleasure to work alongside you for these pictures.
I had fun planning the session, working with you all,
and getting pictures I know are going to be heirlooms for your family.

Ariel, you are adventurous and smart and a little bit silly. 😉
I hope you enjoy your pictures,
and I hope they show you how truly beautiful you are inside and out!
God has gifted you with just the strength you need to face whatever lies ahead of you.
You’re going to do great in college, and I know that God is already using you in mighty ways!

Trey’s Senior Pictures {Saint Louis Senior Photographer}

Meet Trey, Mr. GQ.
I took pictures of Trey’s family a few years ago,
and his mom gushed about loving his natural smile that showed his teeth.
But when she saw his senior pictures, something in her was just drawn to the serious poses.
I can’t blame her–he really nailed the look! 🙂

I had fun planning Trey’s session.
His mom wanted something to really capture his goofy personality,
and I knew my new 9 square frame was the perfect fit!
So we ended up with some really serious and some seriously goofy pictures.
I love it!

Trey, I hope you enjoy your pictures!
Good luck to you as you narrow down your college choices
and finish up your senior year!

Now Booking October 15 MiniSessions at Bee Tree Park

My family has been sponsoring a child through Compassion International for the last ten years, but I know there are so many children who don’t have sponsors. Most of us take family photos at Christmas, so I created an event that not only provides a service for families but also supports a great mission. I imagined something for families that wouldn’t just sit in a photo album or exist on Facebook but instead could become part of their treasured holiday décor. I envision the portraits I create as being something that is brought out each year at Christmas time and displayed as your children grow. My clients can feel good knowing that they’re getting beautiful artwork while at the same time bringing the joy of Christmas to a child who doesn’t have a sponsor. My hope is that those pictures will remind families that they have love to share with the world.

Welcome Baby Simon! {Saint Louis Area Family Photographer}

I traveled to Wisconsin for little baby Simon’s baptism,
and since I was up there for a whole week,
we made time to sneak in a little session.

Simon, you are adorable,
but I’m also going to call you a stinker
because you decided to start smiling on demand
about two days after I left.
