LMTPhotography bio picture
  • Welcome!

    I fell in love with photography when I was teaching in China. My eyes were opened to a world of beautiful faces and incredible art as I roamed the streets and markets of Shanghai. I took pictures of every new and exciting detail and scene to help me remember my time there when I returned home.

    Because photography is the memory of our lives. Photographs never change, even when the people in them do. My family lost my brother-in-law at a young age shortly after I returned from China. All we have left of him are the memories through our pictures. I wish we had more pictures of all of us together to show my kids the love and laughs we shared. Losing him motivated me to be a better memory creator for my family, and it fuels my passion for creating beautiful, timeless images that capture smiles and spirit.

    My goal as a photographer is to make this easy for you. I'm a mom of 5. I get that things need to be simplified in life. Let me give you pictures you'll love and an experience you'll enjoy. Now is the right time to schedule your session! Contact me--let's do this for you!

Rachel’s Senior Session {Saint Louis Senior Photographer}

I first got to meet Miss Rachel at her sister’s senior session three years ago.
(Go check out that session by clicking here.)
It’s always an honor to be chosen again to take pictures for past clients,
so I was thrilled to capture Rachel’s senior pictures!

We had a gorgeous fall day for Rachel’s pictures in Forest Park!
(Even though I had to forgive the park people for cutting down my favorite grass field…)

Rachel, I hope you enjoy showing off your senior pictures!

Kelli McCann Nifong - I’m Rachel’s momma, and I must say, Lani outdid herself once again! We had the hardest time trying to choose from so many beautiful shots. I seem to recall us having the same (great) problem last time, with Shelby’s pictures. Thank you Lani for capturing such wonderful memories of the girls’ senior years!

Poole Family {Saint Louis Family Photographer}

It is the best compliment to a photographer when clients come back,
and Amy and her family have come back FIVE times for family and senior pictures
since I started my business almost seven years ago.
Needless to say, I am completely honored by their loyalty!!

We had the perfect day for a family session in Forest Park.
The weather was beautiful, and we had all the great picture spots to ourselves
(except the area in front of the Grand Basin which was being occupied by a yoga class).
Miss Taylor, thank you for keeping things light.
Your infectious smile and laughter helped capture some really great memories for your family!
Amy, thank you for your loyalty and your patience as we had to reschedule
your viewing session when my baby wasn’t feeling well.

Poole family, enjoy showing off your beautiful pictures!

Andrew and Kelly Tied the Knot! {Saint Louis Wedding Photographer}

Andrew and Kelly, thank you so much for trusting me with the memories of your wedding day.
You are such a fun and relaxed couple, and it was a pleasure to work with you!
And can I just say WOW–we were so blessed with rain stopping at all the right times for your pictures!
God is good!
And I will also say thank you for all the wonderful time you built in for pictures after the ceremony.
Every photographer’s dream! 😉
I hope these pictures bless you with smiles and happiness every time you look at them throughout the years.
Enjoy sharing them with your friends and family!

Wedding party, please friend me (Lani Palmer) if you are on Facebook.
Soon some low-resolutioned images will go online
and I would love to be able to tag you in them so you can enjoy using the pictures as your profile pictures too!
I do ask as a professional courtesy that you leave my logo in place since these are a gift from me to you.

If you are interested in ordering some prints, the link for the online gallery will go live in the next few days.
Send me an email to request the link, and I will email you the link and ordering instructions when the gallery is ready.
The first week the gallery is open, you can order pictures for 20% off!

Now grab a drink (and maybe some tissues!), sit back, and enjoy these pictures!
And when you’re done, please leave Andrew and Kelly a comment to tell them how much you love them!

Wade and Lora are Getting Married! {Saint Louis Engagement Photographer}

It’s hard to believe that in just 11 short days my baby sister is getting married!
Her future hubby is a farmer in Southern Missouri,
and in preparation for their wedding, we took a trip down to his hometown
to get some pictures to use for their guest book and wedding decorations.
They are decorating with wheat and lavender, so it’s a perfect fit!
What was NOT perfect, though, was the weather the day of our session.
Sheesh! We were dodging rain all day…
But as a bonus, we got a picture with a rainbow, and we did fit the session in,
so it all worked out in the end. 🙂

Lora and Wade, I can’t wait to help you celebrate your big day!
Enjoy showing off your images!
Love you both to pieces!!

Annie’s Senior Session {Saint Louis Senior Photographer}

Annie and her mom scouted out these beautiful locations
in the Central West End and Forest Park for her session.
The season was perfect for all the beautiful
blooming trees and fresh spring flowers!

Annie, enjoy the few weeks you have left before graduation.
I pray God’s blessings to you as you head south for college next fall
and listen for His direction in your life.
Enjoy showing off your beautiful senior pictures!
