  • Welcome!

I fell in love with photography when I was teaching in China. My eyes were opened to a world of beautiful faces and incredible art as I roamed the streets and markets of Shanghai. I took pictures of every new and exciting detail and scene to help me remember my time there when I returned home.

Photography is the memory of our lives. Photographs never change, even when the people in them do. My family lost my brother-in-law at a young age shortly after I returned from China. All we have left of him are the memories through our pictures. I wish we had more pictures of all of us together to show my kids the love and laughs we shared. Losing him motivated me to be a better memory creator for my family, and it fuels my passion for creating beautiful, timeless images that capture smiles and spirit.

My goal as a photographer is to make this easy for you. I'm a mom of 5. I get that things need to be simplified in life. Let me give you pictures you'll love and an experience you'll enjoy. Now is the right time to schedule your session! Contact me--let's do this for you!

Our newest addition

It’s been a while since I’ve posted because I’ve been quite busy with my newest baby, Haven Marie. She’s just about a month and a half now, and I’m getting back into the swing of things, so I thought I would introduce her. This Saturday I’m looking forward to my first session since she was born…it’s good to be back and actually doing something other than feeding, sleeping, and changing diapers! 🙂

The N Family

Yesterday I had another photo shoot with a family from church. They wanted a picture for the Christmas cards this year. We took these pictures after a VERY long day (neither one of our 2 yr olds had naps!) and a very COLD day (with temps hovering right around 30 degrees). The lighting wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t the best either. But all in all, we got everyone, including their rambunctious boxer, Meshak, to cooperate for a few good shots.
