LMTPhotography bio picture
  • Welcome!

    I fell in love with photography when I was teaching in China. My eyes were opened to a world of beautiful faces and incredible art as I roamed the streets and markets of Shanghai. I took pictures of every new and exciting detail and scene to help me remember my time there when I returned home.

    Because photography is the memory of our lives. Photographs never change, even when the people in them do. My family lost my brother-in-law at a young age shortly after I returned from China. All we have left of him are the memories through our pictures. I wish we had more pictures of all of us together to show my kids the love and laughs we shared. Losing him motivated me to be a better memory creator for my family, and it fuels my passion for creating beautiful, timeless images that capture smiles and spirit.

    My goal as a photographer is to make this easy for you. I'm a mom of 5. I get that things need to be simplified in life. Let me give you pictures you'll love and an experience you'll enjoy. Now is the right time to schedule your session! Contact me--let's do this for you!

Emily’s Senior Session {Columbia and Saint Louis Senior Photographer}

I can never say enough how awesome it is when clients come back.
Best. Compliment. Ever. : )
I first met Emily’s family for a family mini-session in 2011,
then I got to see them again for Emily’s brother’s senior session in 2012.
Fast forward a few years and it’s Emily’s turn!

We had the most gorgeous fall day for Emily’s session.
In some small way, I am glad that the Cards didn’t make it to the World Series
because her session probably would have been a much different experience
fighting off downtown traffic and trying to find parking.

Emily, you are a beautiful lady inside and out,
and I am so honored to be able to capture this time in your life for you and your family.
Enjoy showing off your beautiful pictures!!

Happy Birthday, Deacon! {Saint Louis Child and Family Photographer}

This month my family and I vacationed in Wisconsin,
and while we were there I had the opportunity to photograph three of my nephews!
Twin pictures coming later this week…stay tuned!

First up, in honor of his first birthday party that I’m missing (boo!)
because my vacation ended a week before his party,
here are the wonderful pictures I got of my nephew Deacon
and his family too.

I am so excited to add these pictures to the album I’ve been working on for him
that will include his parents’ maternity photos, his birth photos, a newborn session,
and the pictures from this session and his cake “smash” too. I’ll be sure to share it when it’s done!

Happy birthday, Deacon! Sorry I can’t be there to celebrate with you!
Enjoy all the pictures, Kyle and Shana and family!!

Fourth of July fireworks recap

I know, I know.
This post is about a month late.
July has been long since forgotten.
But for the first time since I had a tiny baby Evan (my oldest, who is now 7.5),
my family went to a real fireworks show.
And not just that,
but we were invited by the family who’s in charge of setting them off.
We had amazing seats!
And no crowds to fight!

Thank you, L family, for blessing us with this great experience!
I hope you enjoy the pictures of your handiwork!

Rossics Family Session {Saint Louis Family Photographer}

I first met Mom and Dad Rossics at a marriage conference at my church.
A year later I got to take their family pictures at one of my mini-sessions.
And now,  a few years later,
I can’t believe how grown up their kids are!
Driving already?!…
Wowzers! Where does the time go?

This beautiful family just came off of an amazing family vacation to Hawaii
as they accompanied their son and his high school band for a concert there.
I love that they wanted to remember that special part of their year
by having a fun island-themed wardrobe for part of their pictures!
What a great way to remember their family vacation!
(Although, for the record, I did volunteer to go along with them next time…) : )

Rossics family, thank you so much for trusting me with your memories again.
Enjoy showing off the pictures of your beautiful family!
